I moved again. This time to the highest level.
And what I half-suspected was right. The noise from above, wasnt because of the neighbour above. Its just a building syndrome. I had it in Singapore, I had it in 3 different rooms here. Im at the highest level, there is no one living above me. Yet, I still hear footsteps, opening of taps and water rushing from the ceiling. And. Things dropping onto the ceiling. I read on the internet that it is called "marble-dropping phenomenon". Its a new term, coined by some Singapore team investigating this. So it is true.
Ganesh thought I was crazy and hearing things. But when he came up for dinner, at one point, I drew his attention to it. It was a loud marble dropping sound from the ceiling. So I am not hearing things. I am just more sensitive to it.
And last night, it was so cold. I wonder if the cold is due to this new room having a small heater or due to the fact that its the highest level. My old room is level 7 and it was really really really warm. It has a large heater, but sometimes, the heater is totally off and I still cant feel cold. Now, I have my heater on and its so cold. Its only 2 more floors up.
I was told that a building warms up in levels. So the higher levels get more heat. So when I was 7th floor, it was warm. But does that mean also, that heat escapes near the top level? So now Im at the top level, it should be v cold. :((
