After argueing with Ganesh about Singapore and Malaysia, and about our history, in front of the Angmohs, I feel so proud of Singapore, and Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

We were part of Malaysia. Malaysia wanted the Malays to be 1st class and Malay to be the main language. We didnt want that. They kick us out. We are an Island, A city, A country. No resources, no oil, not even water. Malaysia said we'll come back begging for them, if not we'll die. LKY cried. And then become determine to build Sg. Today, we are the 9th most expensive City in the world.

Sri Lankan guy commented: "In 19__s, LKY came to Sri Lanka. He said 'I want Singapore to be like Sri Lanka. A great country'. Now, Sri Lanka wants to be like Sg" --> LKY is Zai. Damn cool can. I never realised how cool he is until I live here. Norwegians are utterly RICH. That's because they have OIL. They depend so much on it. Singapore. An Island. A country. A city. People are generally curious abt how Sg become so developed and rich, in a region of poor under-developed countries, and we dont even have WATER (dont talk abt oil), while every poor cty ard us have water.

Angmohs ask: "No resources. An Island. A country. Where did you get your money from?"
IDK. IDK. IDK really. Can someone enlighten me please?

HOWEVER, after meeting the 2 Bhutan guys (wtf, there is such a cty in Asia?) I searched on the internet and realised that the Happiest Country in Asia is Bhutan. They are seriously Villagers can. The Masters degree students from Bhutan lives in villages can. Damn. You dont need money to be happy. Seriously.
Norway is the most expensive cty in Norway, but Norwegians arent happy people. Infact, it is Denmark that tops the list of Happiest countries in the world. And sweden is not far behind. So, despite Norway, being the richest country in Europe, its scandinavian counterparts, are much happier than them.
And Ganesh the Malaysian, has much to boast about in this sense. Because Malaysia ranks tons higher than Sg in the Happiest World Ranking. I admit. Sgreans need to chill more.
